No, cancer isn't new.
We all know caner is benign(non-life threatening) or malignant(life threatening). You body's tissue cells divide regularly while other tissue cells die off, maintaining the integrity of the organ. But when there is damage to the DNA of a cell that divides, the cell mutates into something other than what it should be. Mutations occur spontaneously, and may be caused by radiation, carcinogens(chemicals or physical agents that cause cancer), or by certain viruses that can insert their DNA into the human genome.
You are considered to have cancer when the neoplasm(new growth of cells) is malignant and metastasizes(spreads) into different organs.

Actually we all walk around with innactive cancer cells witin our physicl bodies. It takes someting to trigger the growth of cancer cells, and these can be rather varied, however most of us live a healthy life without any activation of cancer cell growth, then again it is a high killer in Australia.no one really knows what starts cancer cells to begin to activate & multiply, apart from Radiation Exposur. Hope I have answered your question for you.

there is nothing really new, and if anyone made cancer it had to be god, so its best to just admit that until the population was big enough for us to notice it and to understand what it was and that it needed fighting, that we just didnt know quite what to call it, now its labeled and has been fought for half a century. the fight has gotten more progressive in the last 30 yrs though, and im a 20 yr survivor.

No, cancer has been around since the beginning of time. It's just taken the right amount of intelligence and technology to be able to identify and treat it. Nobody made it, it's just another disease that affects us humans.
