I agree with you.love is much more than this three words. honesty, respect, responsibility, care is also need. I think true love is that when you find that he/she is respective to you & your family.
am I right??

When I say I Love You to my husband, I GENUINELY mean it. I mean that there is nobody else but him. Many people say it without feeling the commitment that it embodies. The commitment that it SHOULD still hold! I look at my parents, and all of the hard times that they went through, they stayed together until my Mom died, and I believe they were true to each other, no matter what hard times they went through. That is what I plan to do with my husband although he has already let me down once!
Even so, I have remained true to him, and that is something No One can take away from me. I feel that I KNOW the meaning of the words, and I'm not the only one. There are others out there!

No. (even though, technically its only 1 word) :-). But i agree that it is said so much that it has lost a lot of meaning. That's why i, when in a relationship, focus more on showing my feelings rather than busting out the the frequent "i love you's".

I think people have a tendency to say what the other person wants to hear, or to say what they think they have an obligation to say. It's not just the 3 words, there are tons of people making false promises related to love too

What does love mean to you? Of course it means more than words. There's a lot to it. It's a life-time discovery.

My experiance
-its to get into the persons pants or in some way use them
- may mean the ideal thought of it
- or means, "I love you, but it doesnt mean we'll be together, at least not for long." which means they have the genuine feeling/connection, but something in them prevents the idealness of it.

Love is real. When you hear it from someone who realy means it, you will know in your heart. Only because God will tell you. Keep the faith and the feeling, God loves you, and so do we!!!

many say- i love you -for nothing
Latins say it to a different person each night
it is up to the individuals to give it meaning and that differs with each couple
