...about sixteen different guys last year! Unless there are some she didn't mention. Several threesomes (2guys and herself), a couple married men, a few were strictly f*ck buddies, some were from failed relationships, and of course some one nite stands, too. Does this make her a slut? Some of my guy friends get laid all the time and would be very happy to get as much action as her. What I'm asking is-if you think she is a slut, is it because she's female?

She is lonely, has a problem with commitments, & a strong sexual appetite! BUT, She is a teriffic young woman and she swears by her use of condoms! I think some of the women around label her that because they're jealous-she is very confident in herself. Just so happens she' very sexually charged. No she doesn't dress like a ho either!

No, she's not a sl*t. Sl*t is a word used by envious people to describe someone whose getting more or better sex then they are.

In my book, she is a wonderfully sexual woman whose comfortable with her sexuality.

Yes she is. And remember, it is proven fact you become a lot like the people you hang around. Maybe you won't become a ----,
but you will pick up on her behaviors etc. No growth into becoming the kind of woman you would like to become as long as you are hanging around her. I hope this does not anger you, but open your eyes. She sees married men? Cmon, how can she contribute to harming a family? and... how as a friend can you stay a friend with a person absent of self worth and values? She just goes around with 'it doesnt matter who?'... She has no self respect or self control and these are two things necessary in creating a truly quality life. I would say that as her friend, you should embrace her in understanding she is hurting herself so very much and should change. Dangerous and this type of living is morally wrong. ... and if she can't change, why would you have her as a friend, unless you of course condone this behavior. Giving her a kick in the pants is the best thing you could do, if of course you are really her best friend.

And anyone male or female, that shows such a great lack of self respect, or respect for marriage, or to other persons sexually surely is a ----. ... and not friend material either. It is sad.

HELL YES! she is a s**t... 16 partners in a lifetime is pretty filthy let alone a year - and i would think exactly the same if she was a a guy.

As far as i'm concerned people such as your friend are oxygen thieves and wastes of space. They do nothing but spread disease and cause trouble in others relationships.. how many of those 16 guys do you suppose had girlfriends or even worse wives and children?

And one day she will find a guy that she wants to have more to do with than just screwing around and he will become curious about her past partners - how many decent guys do you really believe will stick around after he hears that total?

Before I got married I was a huge slut, it reached a point when I wasn't having sex because it felt good, or even just to reach orgasm. I would do it just because I thought I could. I considered my self a slut through out that period of my life. So no, you friend isn't a slut because she's a women, she's a slut because she doesn't know when to say no. Hopefully on day she'll learn that after awhile it's not worth the risks involved with that kind of promiscuity

Yes, she's a _ _ _ _ all right. And just because some of your guy friends get laid all the time doesn't make them any better. They're just as bad, only society doesn't give them the stigma.

Look a healthy moral conscience will tell you that sex is supposed to be special. Its to be treated as if it were sacred.

If you get laid just for fun then you're treating your sexually far too casually.

any girl that has sex with about sixteen different guys happens to have some serious problems. if shes having random one night stands and threesomes with people just because she's horny, then yes she should be considered a "slut". i cannot judge a person without knowing them, but she seriously needs to slow down because there are so many diseases out there and she just doesn't know what she can get. female's should respect their bodies much more than men did because i believe women are sacred, they are beautiful, and they should have pride.

Absolutely a slut! If a few guys in one year no she wouldn't be a slut just "curious", but not 16 sexual partners. That's an open door to diseases if you ask me. Your friend needs to learn how to respect her body and not use it as an object. She will definitely regret her actions later in life when she settles down and this all comes back to haunt her. Her future is at stake here and you need to help her.

I wouldn't necessarily see it that way. She's certainly been around in the past year, but that's her decision. The bigger issues to me is whether or not she's being safe in every level. If she's acting out because she has issues, if sex is actually making her feel worse about herself, if she's subjecting herself to the possibilty of disease, or unwanted pregnancy, I would say that it's you ought to step in as her best friend and try to put a stop it. However, if she's relatively healthy and safe, then I'd let her do her thing and try not to judge.

Well, it sounds like she either is lonely, has low self-esteem, a problem with commitments, or maybe just a strong sexual appetite.

Instead of worrying about whether or not she's classified as a ****, be a good friend and remind her she's playing with fire -- one-nite stands can be dangerous, and so many sex partners could lead to STDs or a death sentence with Aids.

My advice to you: don't use her toilet seat!

I'm not calling anybody a slut. She's just promiscuous, and that doesn't have anything to do with her gender. If I guy had that many sexual partners, I would hold the same opinion of him. Maybe some people have that double standard, but I don't. Girls don't have sex by themselves so whoever she's getting with is just as promiscuous as she is.

From the way you are asking this question, I am guessing that you are both pretty young. If your friend keeps this up, she will be described as feeling like "throwing a hotdog through a tunnel." in the future.
