I'm wondering if I should even take this medication. I've learned that it actually is a antidep. instead of something for TMJ which may help this also, i'm no dr. for sure. But i'm concerned about my heart getting out of rythum which is the last thing I want after 4 years of no symtoms of this. Please any advice is appreciated. Should I ask my Dr. to give me another kind of anitdep. with no risk of arrythumias such as Ativan or Valium which i've taken in the past for anexity??? thank you in advance!

I have TMJ and I no longer take pain medications for this condition, instead i now have a Chiropractor who has help take away the pain with his adjustments. If you do go to a chiropractor besure he knows of your heart problems...

Read a book called The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. Your problem may really be only muscles that have knots in them making them tight causing the rest.
