Check on line for ordinances in your particular city. It should tell you there. I think most cities have their own specific ordinance.

All counties have their own for example my County ordinance states , between the hours of 9:00 pm until 6:00 am -any continuous or constant sound lasting more than 60 seconds is considered disturbing the peace ..examples of continuous noise
are as follows - loud music ,stuck car horn etc.
not considered continuous -- loud talking if under 60 seconds continuously , repetitive noise such as gun fire is also not disturbing the peace
which basically means I can not crank my music longer than 60 seconds without a 2 second pause , but I can shoot my guns 24 hours a day and there is nothing no one can do ....my neighbors love waking up early on Sunday's ha ha ha

That will be approved by the local governing authority. Usually only city, or town, councils handle noise ordinances. Call the local police and ask what it is. Getting them to enforce it is another issue entirely. Sometimes they'll allow you to videotape and turn in the tape to be used as evidence.
