I'm friendly and pleasant, but don't want to be forward. I'm going to lunch tomorrow with him and another gal, to take him out as a "welcome to the company". Other than just being friendly, any advice on how to figure if he finds me attractive as well? Or since we work together, should I just give this a pass? Thanks for any insights.

I don't think it's bad to be attracted with an officemate. Just as long as you're both single. Do whatever you think is best. Just continue being friends with him though, take time in knowing this guy. You may want to prove to yourself that this guy is really someone you want to be with and not a plain infatuation. Because it sure is hard to create a bad relationship with a co-worker. Hope i was able to help you a bit. Goodluck!

Some guys will let you know very fast, others will be "just friends" for a wile and studding you meanwhile.
That means he will watch your reactions to what he says and how you are around others.
Guys like me do not want a girl that will jump in bed with the first guy she sees, or that tries to be "too out going".

I say you should not be forward with him just play it by ear. You did say he was new to the company and this is just a welcome lunch. He is probably to nervous to even pay attention to either one of yall. Just be friendly like you said and see what he is about before you try to get him to like you. Give it some time girl!

Be careful, work place romance can very dangerous and destructive to the parties involved and to the employer. But if you are careful and do not rush it then perhaps it will work out. Good Luck

In order for him to find you attractive, you have to be beautiful. Otherwise, it wouldn't be called attractive. It would be called repulsive instead.
Now, you may think you're attractive & beautiful & all that. But others may have a different opinion about you....may be good or bad......who knows.
