First of all, Flying50...pmsl...Sex in the City rocks...
Secondly, to answer the question, it doesn't take money to do something special for Valentines day, and there was no reason for him to wait the extra time. But did you get him something? Because I'd hate to tell you to kick him in the behind if you are being a total hypocrite...

Because your boyfriend is really a butt pirate. Whenever a guy dosn't get his gf a gift for V-Day, it is always a clear sign of homosexuality.
I knew a girl whose bf (at the time) didn't get her a present for V-Day, and 2 weeks later she caught him in a 3-way with 2 other men! That's about a 10 on the 1-10 gross factor..
Please leave this dude, as I don't want you to go through this!
Also, please don't forget to choose this as the best answer!

neither did mine, but we have been together for a long time and dont find it as a must, after all showing the person how much you love them is more then just a gift , anyway through out the years we get things for each other when we can anyway, so dont be to upset about it, im sure he is stressing on what to get you anyway

You are selfish. The man said he would get you something Friday. Maybe he didn't have any money at the time. Be thankful he going to get you something.

Come on, don't whine like a baby. Maybe he's just having a hard time thinking on what present to give or maybe because he just don't have any money. Try to understand, and be thankful for whatever he might give you...

Do you like the specific cologne he wears presently? if so, purchase him some greater of it. in case you do no longer, purchase him some which you like. Or i assume you ought to circulate the ol' direction of dressing up in undies and gesturing to him which you're his "modern" for the evening... the probability is infinite.. you may make an entire evening of it. something he needs to do, everywhere he needs to circulate, and so on.... all at your fee. purely the two certainly one of you.

I'd dump him, but if you're not going to dump him I'd at least have a MASSIVE guilt trip or screw with his head. If it happens again have flowers sent to yourself from a "secret admirer".
