See i have a friend who is SOOO health conscious....she has like the perfect body, NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING FAT and if you say she is fat, she gets so defensive about it and goes nuts. I push her button all the time for being fat and she never gets mad at me. Do you think that one of these she will just burst at me? Am I being a jerk to her? cuz i think its just all fun and games between two friends.

see everything is good up to certain level.........if this is joke then let it be................coz if she is ur fren ,,,,u shld know that what is her level of tolerance...................
may be u hurt her feelings....but she being a good friend...doesnt say u anything
So try to understand her .....and don push ur games or jokes beyond the level of her tolerance....as it may lead to misunderstandings............

Psychologists say that all humor has some basis in truth. So, yes, you are being a jerk to her. Even when we are kidding, saying hurtful things causes hurt. It may only be subconciously, but it does do that. Find a way to be funny that doesn't have that little "barb" on the end of it.
Also, even though you call her fat, and she isn't fat, you are practicing a bad habit. It can get worse. If you keep reminding yourself that some people are acceptable to mock because they aren't like you, you will turn this into a trait in yourself that is nasty and hard to change. That is prejudice -no matter whether you are "teasing" someone for being a race, religion, or physical shape.
Just be genuine, sincere, and you will have lots of friends.

She probably won't get mad at you, but I promise you all that teasing has her questioning her body, and even though she may know it's teasing, it really does affect her. Girls are extremely sensitive to things like this, like it or not. I'm stick thin myself, and my guy friends call me fat and stuff as a joke becauase they know I'm no where NEAR fat, and so I guess they figure I couldn't possibly ever think I was fat, but it really really does make a girl look in the mirror and think about her body and what not a little bit more. The more she hears it, the worse it is. :/

ok shes obviously beautiful but doesnt realise it ....which means shes insecure and maybe she used to be a big girl so thts why the self consciousnes is still relevant. Plus no one likes to be called fat...fat is not appealing to most men its not a FLATTERING comment lol. She knows ur joking but maybe she just doesnt find it funny ....who knows really one of these days yes she will tell u she isnt impressed but hay its all fun and games till someone gets hurt remember tht ....

I think there has been enough media coverage of eating disorders, that you should already know what you are doing is wrong. If she ends up with an eating disorder, then you only have yourself to blame.
