What kind of idiotic question is this? Of course the man knows how to read.
As for when he wrecked his Corvette during that race...how about you become engulfed in flames that are buring you up and see if you can put the flames out yourself. I'm pretty sure that you will be more concerned with just trying to get out of the car than trying to put the flames out.
I swear...some people post some really stupid questions here!

Yet again, another person displaying their ignorance and immaturity. Is it funny to you that he has severe burns and injuries from that fire? Would you find it funny and entertaining if we put you in a car, set it on fire, and let your ignorant butt burn? I'm guessing you wouldn't want that, and I'm also guessing if your car blew up, instead of wasting time and getting burnt more to grab an extinguisher, you would be trying to get out as well. Know what you are speaking on before you speak, and grow up.

Well first off the fire extinguisher system was automatic.Next is it was at Vegas and not LeMans. The only thing you got right in this question is he was driving a Corvette.

obviously you have never seen the cockpit of a race car because if you had you might just think that the trigger for that fire extinguisher might be a little hard to find if you're engulfed in flames and as well I agree with some other folks who have responded to your your NITWIT question

WTF?
are you going to pull out a fire extinguisher while being barbecued alive?
He might not know how to read but he does have common sense.

Yes, he does know how to read, but I think he was too busy being engulfed in flames to put out the fire.
