I really do not think any of us are qualified to tell you if it is or if it isn't. That is a question that you must ask a professional licensed doctor. If you are having issues with the doctor you are seeing currently and you are not getting your replies on time (considering that you are not the only one doing blood work it takes about one to two weeks to get the reply) then you better go to another doctor get a second person who is not part of the clinic you are going to. So here is what I WOULD DO... if I am having issued with one place I do not plan on goin back to that same place, so go to two different doctors (even if one does give you a result for your test two opinions are better than one...three if your medical is free) Even if one person says you have nothing get a second opinion on it, my friends aunt died from stomach cancer because the doctor failed to do proper testing and told her she was okay and she was diagnosed by a second doctor... so live and let learn so you learn from her mistake for seeing the second doctor too late.... sooo go get your self checked up and good luck to you.

I have thyroid cancer but you say that yours is normal. I wonder why the drs are not doing a CT with contrast to get better imaging. Dont know if you are in the US or Canada but maybe a dr from a walk in clinic might be of more help. If you find it hard to breath and are fed up, the only thing to get the ball rolling would be to go to emergency. I just had a node removed from my chest mets from thyroid cancer. Had a hard time breathing so I went to the emergeny room. My GP finally listed and I was schedulled with a thoracic surgeon and just had surgery. This will be my third surgery.
Hope you get some more help

Yes. According to the WHO approximately 2% of all throat cancer is caused by oral sex. The risks rise massively if you're under about 15 or over 50.

If you feel your current doctors are not giving you clear information and are not taking their time to explain your test results then find another doctor and explain to them your concerns... No one here will be able to give you a diagnose based on what you have said to us.... Only a doctor can perform the necessary tests to find out if there is any cancerous cells in your throat or esophagus! Either talk to your current doctors about the concerns you have or find yourself someone you can trust and that can give you the answers to all your questions.

There are more than one hundred types of cancers and each type of cancer has different symptoms. Many of these symptoms are also associated with common ailments, so only thorough checkup by a doctor, can identify the real problem . More details and information at http://candp.org/

Please change doctors or do what you have to in order to get some answers. You can't go on like this. I'm sure an ENT and/or gastro would try and rule out Barrett's esophagus, or any other cancerous condition. I'm worried about you. I hope everything turns out alright. If it's cancer, they have good treatments out there. But, you have to know what it is before you can get treatment.
Best wishes

We are not doctors hon! You need to get yourself to a specialist! We feel your pain and your anxiety though. You are probably just panicked, due to your family history and continued smoking....have you quit yet? I think that would take a huge burden off yourself. Quit smoking, #1. Then get a specialist opinion. Best of luck.

I am not an expert, but this sounds like a classic case of dehydration. Drink 6-8 glasses of water per day or more if you can handle it. Also, take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2 x day. Read the apple cider vinegar website along with the water cure. Take care.
