I used to be able to copy and paste in Windows 2003. Now, when I go to paste, it hangs up and I have to go to task manager everytime and quit. I reinstalled the program but it still does same thing. Anything new I can try? thank you.

I guess it gets hung up because you are trying to copy and paste huge data, and if your RAM is of lesser capacity, then it sure takes time to get the data onto the memory and hung up after some time.. If you are copying a single file, try splitting the file and then pasting the file, or if it is a group of files then copy in batch.. At the end it all depends on your RAM. "More details needed"..

Sounds like you have a memory or buffer problem but if you did not have the problem before then you should not have it now. What are you copying and where are you trying to paste it? Is the data you are copying compatible with the data you are trying to paste to?
Call Microsoft and tell them their product is broken but it will cost you a bunch as you wait on the phone for hours to talk to someone.
