Its like when you first get a puppy. They can do no wrong, they're are so cute, you want to be around them all the time but when the puppy gets older you really don't enjoy cleaning up after it's sh*t anymore.

I don't know about that, I"ve been married for over 19 years, and my husband makes me feel special all the time. He just told me a little bit ago that he's more in love with me now than ever. If that doesn't make a girl feel special, I don't know what will!!!
Some guys do though, women do it as well, it's not all guys. Some people forget that after you're married, you still have to court each other. They figure the inks dry on the marriage certificate, so they are signed, sealed and delivered, and that's all they have to do in the relationship. NOTHING could be futher from the truth!! You have to constantly work at keeping your marriage strong and alive. You have to always remember your spouse, and be considerate of him/her. You have to keep dating, yes, even AFTER you're married.

The thrill of the chase is gone once you have settled down and known the person for a long time. I am not married but been with my guy for 7 years and I think the passion and excitement is all in the beginning of a relationship. When you wonder what that person will do next or will you get some that night.

It comes from too much familiarity and the change in the relationship.
I don't think the sweetness decreases, but it changes. Hopefully the guy lets his wife feel special, but hopefully it will be in different ways than when they were courting.

i guess for the same reason a lot of women before they were married wouldn't be seen without makeup and their hair done. once they are married and the shine has worn off, they slop around the house in sweats and hair standing on end.
human nature is to get complacent and familiar and relax.

Well I'm glad to say I haven'y experiencecd that .I still feel as though we are still dating. The spice is still there and I love it.And to top that off he is in the marines so if there is any dullness it should be in marrages like mine and doctors etc because they are never home.Try dressing up or there are different types of natural foods that enhance sex drive.Good luck

Because while they are dating they are still trying to make an impresion, once they get married, they figure they have caught you and dont have to try as hard. They figure you already know how special they think you are. they become too comfortable. Not all do though, my husband still lets me know alot, Im sure other hubbys do to.

it's called courting. the beginning of a relationship always brings out the best in both men AND women in order to attract the other person. sometimes men do not express emotions very well, we're just not wired for it like women are-- but we can learn how. if it's your husband- do you make him feel special? sometimes to get what we want, we need to give too. who knows maybe he'll reciprocated. or, maybe he really is a jerk?

Because the sweetness is the hook and line...once she's caught, there's no need to reel her in anymore.

But don't we all do that. We all seem to want it all our way. May be we all need to be more considerate
