How about Jacques after Jacques Clouseau, the detective from the Pink Panther movies. You could even shorten it to Jax if you want
I have always thought it cute when cats have to investigate everything and I think the thought of giving a cat the name of famous fictional detective is adorable.
Jacques Clouseau is one of my all time favorite detectives

Something the kids will like like Elmo or Otis. Whatever the name, make it something that will make you beam whenever your kids say it. I used to nanny for a little girl that had a big, fat cat named Otis. She called him "Otie" because she couldn't say the "s" at the end, and I just about died every time she said it--she was sooo cute!
