There is no way to beat a slot machine because they have set pay outs like the kid whose dad works for IGT says. You could try and figure it out like when and how much its going to pay, but you'd have to know from the beginning how many coins are played what has all come up etc. Oh being a math genius would help.
However there are several ways to "cheat" the machines. Many of which are illegal and would result in hefty fines, possibly jail time. At the very least-banishment from that casino and any of their associate casinos.

No, see as soon as you put in your first coin it knows what the combination of reels is going to be, so it doesn't even really matter when you push the button or pull the lever. The way they work is it randomly choses a number, say 173957264839, and that corresponds to a certian combo on the reels, which is really just a location on it. So it will know it's going to spin and stop at the 43rd place on the first real, the 5th on the second, and the 37th on the third, which might cxorrespond to somehting like Blank, red bar, white seven. So no, there is no way to fool the system. It is completely sound and perfect (Virtually)

there are ways to beat slot machines but it take some research you will have to buy a book to find out how to find loose slot macheines (loose machines are ones that are malfunctioning and giving to many pay outs) these people who are saying that they cant be beat are not educated about slot machines ive actually studied the subject their are people who actually got rich off slots and i must warn you targeting loose machines is illegal and also rigging machines(another way to beat them) has put a lot of people in prison good luck finding loose machines

Yes, to win is not to lose money on it, and you win time for not playing and thinking how to beat it.
