Nope it has no effect on your skin. It will however have an effect on your life, if you die in your sleep. how do you breathe if your face is in your pillow?

Not bad unless your pillow is unclean. I believe wrinkles or lines over time can form. I recommend sleeping on your back or on your left side resting on a suitable pillow.

I'm a skin specialist, and I never recommend anyone to sleep on their face.
All the skin falls forward, and after years of sleeping this way you will have wrinkling.
I'm not sure that that was your worry.
Sleeping on your side will cause a crease at the side of your nose.
I always tell my clients which side they sleep on the most.
The deepest crease gives it away.
If you want nice skin use good products, and sleep on your back.
Good luck!

the only thing ive heard about sleeping on your stomach/face is that it causes pimples. and it makes sense if you think about it because of the moisture, from your breath, not being able to escape to anywhere but your face. as for you back and spine im really not sure.. hope i helped! gl:)

I have always heard that it causes more wrinkles. The best sleeping position is on your back.
