Love thy neighbor means to be kind, understanding, helpful, respectful to your neighbor Sex is not implied. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Be faithful to your spouse. No pre or extra material sex. -- Not that it changes the above explanation but, Was the neighbor you speak of the same sex as you? Was he or she like 95 years old? If the answer is yes to either of these two questions, adultery isn't the right word.

Than explain to us why there are Christians who force their beliefs on others, sometimes to the point of physically harming someone who does not believe in God the same way they do. When someone thinks they can convert by physical or mental punishment, and tells everyone that the person in question is evil even when they are not, that is bigotry. Shunning others, shouting things like Devil worshiper, and other things (some more graphic and I refuse to use that language). Or going so far as to say punish these people because they are not worshiping like us (yes, there are those who have it on the web.) these people are no better than Hitler for they are taking away our freedom to worship god in our own way. Jesus never condemned people for not being Jewish, nor for not believing in God. He taught kindness and compassion and only spoke when they asked for the information. Think on that,

Your thinking of natural love
G5368
φιλέω
phileō
fil-eh'-o
From G5384; to be a friend to (fond of [an individual or an object]), that is, have affection for (denoting personal attachment, as a matter of sentiment or feeling; while G25 is wider, embracing especially the judgment and the deliberate assent of the will as a matter of principle, duty and propriety: the two thus stand related very much as G2309 and G1014, or as G2372 and G3563 respectively; the former being chiefly of the heart and the latter of the head); specifically to kiss (as a mark of tenderness): - kiss, love.
That is talking about Gods Love, selfless
G26
ἀγάπη
agapē
ag-ah'-pay
From G25; love, that is, affection or benevolence; specifically (plural) a love feast: - (feast of) charity ([-ably]), dear, love.
Our love is based on feelings. Gods love is based on a command to think of others before yourself. That is exactly what Jesus did when He died for you

You did not love your neighbor. You committed adultery pure and simple.
To love your neighbor is to assist them when their in need, clothe them if their naked, feed them if their hungry and give them a haven if they have no home.
Loving and sex are two different things. Learn that first and then come back and ask another question.....may take awhile I think.

If you really "loved your neighbor" you would not engage in behavior with them or cause them to engage in behavior that removes God's favor from their lives. Sin separates man from God. Encouraging sin in another is not for their eternal good - so that is not love. "Adultery" and "love" are on opposite sides of the pole.

Adultry is to have sex when one of you is married. You could have sex if neither is married, and it would not be adultry. Also love they neighbor AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF means to treat others as you want to be treated, and respect them like you want to be respected. You love your siblings with out LOVING them. Do the same for not only your "neighbor" but everyone who is in conntact with your life.
