I am 50 and have been divorced 2 times and am now married and happy for the first time.
First of all stop looking. I know that you are lonely. It is rough. But concentrate on making friends. Men friends are good things to have. Sometimes it turns into a really good friendship (if you know what I mean) but keep it that way. Take your time. You are at a point in your life when you are very vulnerable and believe me men can sense that a mile away.
Try taking dance lessons, art classes, ceramics, book club. Go dancing. Take this opportunity to get to know yourself better.

I suggest that you vigorously persue activities and continued education that makes you happy, don't worry about meeting someone for now, get into yourelf and be happy, weird thing is, that in itself will lead you to the type of person you want to be with

Start at church. There are plenty of people who are single, divorced or widowed (young). I know of a sister (spiritual) who just went thru a divorce.

Try online dating..I think its the best because if you don't like them you don't have to ever talk to even if it's before you meet
