Can peole going thru immigration process collect w.i.c.?

This girl told me today she signed up for w.i.c. shes dealing w/ immigration to naturalize her husband. I thought u need to show sponsorship ( proof of income) and there is a rule you cant get w.i.c. or any kind of welfare when trying to become a resident or citizen?? thanks for you answers

The W.I.C. program (Women In Crisis) is set up for mothers that are in situations that make the feeding of their children difficult.

A person that applies for such is suppose to have proof of their address (to show that they live in the state and eligible), light bills, and pay stubs (to prove that they fit within the income guidelines).

If they took documents that showed that someone is working within the United States illegally (using a Social Security card that clearly could not be theirs if not here legally) - I would suggest that you contact the W.I.C. office.

I have to deal as a retailer with the W.I.C. office and they don't look kindly at those that get on the system if there is any fraud.

You might be surprised to find out what illegal immigrants can get. The Bank of America is now offering credit cards and waiving the Social Security Number requirement. Now who do you think those credit cards are meant for?

She can't naturalize her her husband, only he can if he is a green card holder. But even if she is applying for her husband's green card she can still get welfare benefits, but she will need a joint sponsor to meet certain guidelines for her husband's green card too be approved.

WIC is for the anchor baby. It doesn't impact on the illegal alien at all.

why not they get everything else
