Does eating a stone make you thirsty?

In greek mythology, it says that Cronus ate a baby-shaped and dressed rock instead of Zues, cause he was scared of getting overthrown by his kids. So, he ate a rock, then he had nightmares, then woke up and he had an inquenchable thirst, and he drank poison and stuff

so my question is, does eating a rock make you thirsty?

It is possible that stones make you thirst as if you place them in a soup kettle they make a very good soup... and of course the soup is brothy which certainly cures thirst! See the award winning children's book, 'Stone Soup' by author Marcia Brown.

Greek mythology is fiction. Eating a rock probably won't make you thirsy, but if it does you wouldn't notice cause your mouth would hurt so bad from losing all your teeth from eating that rock

bedouins, priests, pilgrims and the like that travel on foot were said to take a pebble or so along to sip like candy if they can not have a good piece of bark and this is perhaps so to quell some thirst. the body build of africans have elongated buttocks as it is said that here is where water is stored like the lumps of camels, yet they too sip on pebbles in long-distance journeys
