Not always. I find it's best to keep that hand busy. Chatting on YA is good for that. Keep a jug or pitcher of water near by.

It depends what you are doing.
If your up and active then yes it dose sometimes.
though I have fasted sometimes and slept the whole day. That went by like a breeze.
to Odindmar what kind of fasting do you do that lets you drink water? Common man that's weak.

Time always moves the same, no matter what the situation. It might appear to go more slowly when fasting because you're probably not content while doing do.
