What do you do when its been so long since you have had a steady relationship?

I know just how you feel. Sometimes it seems like all the right guys have just fallen through a whole in the planet!
I've been in this position several times, and when I analyzed how I felt about the times between boyfriends, or husbands, if that applies, I was the happiest when I was working towards my own goals. Usually I was taking classes. Sometimes I was volunteering time to a good cause; and sometimes I was just reading a lot of good books.
When I was just working and watching TV I was too bored and was feeling too impatient about when the next one would come along.
Another thing to do is develop a great hobby. Fun.

There is a kernal of wisdom you will often hear at this time: new relationships will develop when you quit looking for them. It sure seems true!

It depends how long it has been since u've been in one. I wasn't in one for about a year and all of a sudden my girlfriend popped into my life. You never know when a certain someone will come into your life. Let things run their course and it will happen sooner than u will think. I never thought i would find anyone. However, once again, i was lucky to find my gf when i did. But fate has a funny way of working. It makes u depresed and sad when ur not in one and then it will suprise attack u and u will be caught off guard, but u will like it. Just give it time, hon. Things will work out for the best.
