I am a single african american female who is looking to start dating after a year of solitude lol. But seriously, I want to date but I am very interested in interracial dating. The problem I'm having is most men from other countries aren't interested in black women, especially asian men who I'm most interested in (Indian and Chinese men to be exact). I want to know is there any men from either countries who would be interested in dating a black woman? I know there are very bad stereotypes and racism against black people in general, but speaking from those of us who don't fit those stereotypes, some of us are really cool and very open minded. I love people from all around the world, and hope my color won't always hinder me from meeting my "future" mate.

I am NOT desperate, nor ignorant when it comes to this issue. I'm just curious to see if asian men in general would be interested in an african american woman. Of course no one can say yes or no because it depends on the person I met and their mentality. I just want to see what others think on this issue..Period. Thanks.

All women are beautiful. True love is color blind, so don't worry, you'll meet the right man for you when the time is right. I know a lot of guys that love African or Black women. Remember when you're looking for your mate to not rule out someone because of their race either, since you specify Indian and Chinese men.

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. Look at the facts? Where would most of these foreign men get their information? By way of the media. How fair and equal has the media as a whole been towards African American? Most of the time when you see an African American that is not an entertainer or athlete, they are in handcuffs. Think of how the media plays the Middle Eastern card? Most of the time you hear of Arab people they are plotting to blow something up or burning a flag. When you do hear of the Arab people who just want to practice their religion in peace? It is few and far between, with a segment so short, you better not blink or you will miss it. If you look back into the ancient culture of Middle Eastern people and Asians, Chinese and Japanese they are(or have been)a very reserved people. Often cool to outsiders. With Asia they have had far more exposure to Caucasians than Blacks. And I am sure some of the stories passed around the dinner table after doing business together was not flattering to Blacks. Neither was what was seen(specially in Japan after WWII) when the white people were in control of Japan and the Blacks treated hardly better than they were(those in the service because there if there were any as part of the reconstruction, they were mere lackys pushing a broom or cleaning the toilets).I have seen poster here that were Asian and progressive enough to seek dating Black girls but they are very few and far between. Improbable but not impossible. Just be prepared to look 5 times harder and dig 8 times deeper.

Don't you think it's a bit silly to make such a gross generalization? ALL international men? Come on now. Different people have different tastes. You happen to like Indian and Chinese men. Instead of worrying about whether they find you attractive or not, why not just go for what you want and start finding and dating these men?

WHAT A CROCK...Asian men probably don't try Black woman because most Black women don't want Asian men. I am Black and men of most ethnic backgrounds have approached me at some time or another. I prefer Black men but I could look at eye-candy of any race. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. A real man loves all women. PERIOD

You want one of these men to be open-minded to dating a black woman, but you dont want to date a black man?
Why are you limiting yourself to dating asian men? I realize you're particulary attracted to them, but you should stop focusing on outer beauty. Just look for the right man for you, and stop worrying what color he is.

Why don't you try the men in your own country? You'd be surprised how many white and hispanic men want our beautiful black women. Though it may be beneath you, try a telephone dating service, you'll see!

Doesn't matter what race they are, if they don't like you because of their skin color they a racist and stay away. That doesn't mean you can't find yourself a Chinese or Indian man who will like you for yourself. Just be prepared to try hared or search longer.

concentrate on dating the "right" man, not "white" man.
that aside, im sure most people (some) dont mind interracial dating. just be patient, start flirting, you will get something that suits you, weather its asian or white or black. it really doesnt matter
