Well, the skin on your left armpit is probably more sensitive now since it's been through so much lately.

It might be the shaving of the new skin since you had the tag removed, in which case, all you can do is use a good razor of the gentlest kind you can get, and moisturize afterwards. Do this at night and don't put on deodorant until the morning.

You might want to also consider a gentler deodorant, like a mineral crystal or one made for adolescents. Either one has less stuff in it that you don't need, so there is less for you to have a bad reaction to.

If it persists, i'd go ahead and see a dermatologist.

Use moisturiser as shaving lotion and try not to shave too often because you're taking away some skin cells when you do. antiperspirants often contain aluminium compounds, which you shouldn't use on broken or irritated skin. Don't use it for twenty-four hours.

For fast relief from bumps, irritation and pain that can occur in "sensitive" areas after shaving try (BIKINI ZONE) it stops itching and redness also. You can get it where ever health & beauty products are sold. It works for me.

next time, use a soapy lather or shaving cream. armpits are sensitive. also, shave in all directions, as the hair grows in more than one diredction, therefore, fewer strokes for you.

be sure to use firm strokes with the razor and use a lotion for dry skin before you apply deodorant
