Do you need to be with AAA classic for a year before you qualify for AAA plus???

The following applies to AAA members in Northern CA, Utah, and Nevada only and comes direct from the csaa.com website:


The AAA Plus© Membership eligibility requirements are as follows:

You must be a CSAA Member for one year or more.
You have made no more than 4 Emergency Road Service calls for your household in the past 12 months.
Your household has used no towing services in the past 12 months.
If you are a Classic Member, you will know when you are eligible by signing in to “My AAA.” An upgrade link will appear next to your Membership status, which indicates your eligibility. Click on the link to begin the upgrade transaction.

If you are part of another AAA club, you can go to aaa.com and the website will direct you to club servicing your area.

I don't think so, but it costs extra and I don't think it matters as long as you pay them for it.
