Won't it get kinda boring if we're in a constant state of euphoria where nothing ever goes wrong and there's never a down side to anything? Just think...there'll be no need for Answers coz everybody will know everything and there'll be nothing new to learn. Who could live ( or exist ) that way?

Good question. If you ever watched Star Trek ... both old and new there were lots of opportunities where the crew could have had a "perfect" existence offered by an alien. But they never wanted it because we as humans cannot deal with "perfect" reality. We need to strive for something and then we can "live" on the achievements we attained while young when we get older. We have a finite life so that is easy to plan. Infinity is harder. So heaven will be something we cannot imagine yet it will be simple. Life around us seems simple but it is incredibly complex. So I wouldn't worry about it...as God planned life ... heaven will be equally good. I am sure God has a great sense of humor so it will be fun ... but not to the extreme.

I have always thought that the floating clouds of joy idea of heaven would be a torture in and of itself. As I age, I am told repeatedly by a truly odd group of freaks that I am going to hell. At this point, I don't believe in heaven or hell, but if the christians are right, I'll take hell. Hell is a place created by a being denied by God as all of the occupants of hell are and so the idea of Satan taking his frustration out on the people in Hell is silly. Then there is the population of hell, Socrates, Aristotle, Homer, the Druid scholars, Ghandi, Copernicus, Gallileo, etc. Frankly, I'd learn from these people in Hell over being bored in the light of Christ in Heaven.

Are you saying that you'd rather be miserable? I'm looking forward to no more pain, suffering, anguish or anything else for that matter.

I'd like to share this piece of heaven with you. Take a look at this CNN interview.

Actually, many believe that heaven will be a perpetual state of learning and growth. As God is divinely infinite and we will never be God, there is an eternity of growing and learning to be done, such that will never be extinguished.

Heaven to me is to achieve no awareness: no question and no knowledge. Therefore my heaven is not for everyone. I will tell people now to go find thier own heaven and don't bother to share mine. That's an atheist's heaven.

We will have an eternity to get to know better an eternal God. Kind of hard to run out of things to do there.

Yes heaven will really be heaven, it is beyond your wildest imaginings, the whole world can't collectively imagine heaven, it is so beyond us just like God is so very beyond us..
