No it is not worthy at all. The basic problem is they are not giving us practical knowledge. They are just asking us to mug up all the things. From this, we are not judged on our all skill. But only by our memory. So there should be more practicality in the education system. And in villages, children even cant read and write. What is the use of all these then ? Government is just spoiling us. They should educate all the villagers.

Assuming you are trying to ask if India's education is comparable to education in other developed/developing countries, my verdict would be a "Yes".
If India today is one of fastest growing economies in the world, it is definetely due to the education system which has created such a talent pool that every organization in the world wants to tap it with an offshore centre.
Yes there are views that we have not been given enough practical knowledge, but then that it is changing slowly. We now have institutes like the IITs, IIMs which are attracting students from other countries. And I am confident that we would be able to have a education system comparable with any other country pretty soon.

not at all.
education means making complete human being.
indian education is a carbon copy of american or europeans 15 to 20 year past.
we do not get personality developed as per baic charactor of a person.
many graduates you will find doing careers in totally different sectors, mostly running after software, managements etc. for better money.
we are not able to get any nobels, we are not able to get rennovtive products of our own, we have not achieved any research as we did in vedic times.
that does mean we are not making aperson conplete in all senses, physically, mentally, psycologically and professionally.
Gurujis and curriculams are not of that standard to make pupil so. except a few.
everybody after Wealth, Woman and Wine.

As someone who has first hand experience, I can discuss this, if you could be a little specific on what you mean by 'worthy'. Thanks.

it is if what you want is to be disciplined, which is their main focus, but they also push you to get grades, very smart studies, but also very competitive.
