Whole egg is almost a perfectly balanced natural health "pill".
The yolk is low in fat & contains large amounts of cholesterol, en essential nutrient vital to life, as well as a wide variety and good balance of essential vitamins and minerals. . I'm affraid the common urban mythconception & what Momma says is not always correct; the yolk is not bad, but good for your health. The white is a protein (albumin) you wont find many people saying thats bad for you.
People who eat large amounts of eggs; astonishingly, can have their HDL: LDL ratio corrected & LOWERED to being unmeasurable by a digital test instrument.
Why?
because when fed a constant supply, the body switches off its own metabolic pathway to manufacture the essential "good" cholesterol, as it is not needed when ingesting a constant supply.
Stay right away from saturated trans- fatty acids commonly used in deep frying and fast "junk" food.
They are the real killers.

The yolk (yellow) part is said to potentially increase cholesterol levels. That's why some people make egg white omelets rather than using the whole egg.

The yellow is the fatty part and the white is the protein. You want to eat the whites. The yellow part has lots of fat and cholestorol.

All of it. You're eating something that was supposed to be a chicken.
Grown female chickens are kept in tiny spaces, unable to move, let alone to turn around. Their beaks have been cut so that they don't injure the chickens next to them. She is given hormones to keep producing eggs and producing eggs and producing eggs, until her body wears out and then she's slaughtered simply because keeping her is no longer economically effective.
Now, do you really want to continue to injure yourself while at the same time supporting this brutality?

Eggs are good food, the yellow has significant amounts of cholesterol. Therefore one should limit the consumption of eggs. That does not mean one should avoid eggs all together.

The "yellow". It contains fatty acids, lipids, cholestrol, etc. which ultimately raises your cholestrol levels (that's bad). The white part contains proteins.
