I haven't had panic attacks personally, but my husband goes through them... My suggestion is to have someone rub you for at least half an hour to an hour each night. Whether it is the head, back, feet, whatever. Just get that time each night to relax and unwind - let go of the day's stresses and pressures.

I wouldn't recommend drugs because they might become addictive. However, finding a natural substitute would work well. I think some other people have made excellent suggestions for you. You may also want to look into a natural healer by the name of Dr. Schulze. He has helped my husband quite a bit.

Whatever you do, make sure you keep yourself focused on overcoming these. Through God all things are possible!

I still have anxiety and panic attacks. I find that lavendar immediately reduces the discomfort to almost non existant for me. I tell myself that I am having an anxiety/panic attack and that nothing is wrong. Deep breathing helps me greatly as well. I used to be on zoloft, went to effexor and then to welbutrin. Now I am take no medication and the lavendar is more effective than the medication. In fact, the medication made matters worse.

(its about 20 $ at a health food store.. ) i just bought some. look it up online (kava kava) ..
try breath slow long deep breaths, listen to some jazz, take a hot bath, those are small things u can do to help.. but do u know whats causing the panic attacks? (stress,, job?? family?? finances??)

For me it was like someone pulling down window shade. I would use my intellect, humor myself, and ask God how long this one would last and knowing it would be over soon helped. I am taking a very mild dose of Zoloft. It helps and keeps me from feeling like I am being strangled. Don't stuff things. The Bible says to not let the sun go down on your wrath so it is important to settle things day by day and not let them build up. One more word of advise is if you have things you need to get done...do them. Running from responsibility can cause a lot of emotional problems. Good wishes to you. Mmm

Don't put yourself in stressful; situations and learn how to control your breathing. Having said that sometimes the stressfull situations find you so you just have to walk away. It is better that blowing your top.
