i notice that i tell myself that i wouldn't make the same mistakes in future because i learned from the past and in the new one i make the same mistake again and again... and it just not me i notices this with my friend. they consistently make the same mistakes. for example they fall in love to fast, give in, take in the mother role, meet jerks, meet uneducated men ( no college degree even worse no high school diploma), come off to strong aka head strong, a little too sexual

Strong emotions often rob people of their good judgement. And strong emotions is what people usually have in a new relationship.

Perhaps this is why many cultures have arranged marriages where relatives play a big role in picking the spouse.

If you want to avoid choosing a wrong guy to fall in love with, then you have to decide what kind of a man you want to be with before you meet anyone. And then you have to stick with your choice regardless of your ever changing emotions.

Self-discipline is what you need.
