I might dye my hair.. Do you think dying it white would be weird?

uhh well i was thinkin of dyin my hair. and my cusin told me dying it white might be cool. i just turned 17 heres a picture if it helps

Hmmm maybe i could just add blonde highlights to my black hair?

Don't dye your hair. It's a waste of money and more often than not you'll come out looking like a maniac, especially if you dye it white! What's wrong with your natural color? Looks good to me. :)

Now I am the last person who will ever tell you not to dye your hair a weird color. But. . . you should really stick to what you have the complexion for. I'm not sure you have the look to pull it off. If you really want to- here's how. Bleach it first, and then go over that with "virgin snow" by Manic Panic. You could then dye in a couple of vibrant color streaks if you wanted to.

But given your picture, I'd actually suggest going for a couple of colorful streaks in your hair the way it is. You could do deep burgundy or blue, and it would look very subtle and kind of cool. Also, with a less drastic change like that, you'll get a lot fewer questions along the lines of "what the bleep happened to you?!"

white is not weird at all eventually we all turn white so you could try it early -----however bleaching does dry the hair it may become frizzy and split--- but their are good products on the market that will condition the hair at the same time. Had a look at the photo and as you have such a dark complexion I think would be better to try darker colours dark red ,dark blue ,brown--- think about the growing out of the colour white does not look good with black roots---- you could also streak it which will look better on regrowth ---anyway have fun the choices are great but do your research ---oh and it does cost so bear this in mind as there may be other things you would like to spend on----maybe you should also ask input from those around you as well

IF you decide to dye it, make sure that you go to a good hairdresser, and for the love of all things holy, DON'T do it yourself. I have seen a lot of nasty things happen when people try to bleach their own hair.
It might be a bit high maintenance, though, because you'd have to watch the regrowth. You could, indeed, try some blue or burgundy accents. They might be safer in terms of possible public ridicule. You'd probably have to get sections of your hair bleached if you want a strong result.

I dont think white would fit you at all, theres only a certain few that could pull off a full cocaine white. Also, the transition from black to white would be a shocker.

I wouldn't go with white myself - I don't think it'll look as good as you think it may and people are going to rag on you and say your trying to look like Taylor Hicks. I would go with some cool crazy color highlighted throughout if I were you. But its your hair!

opinions on whether or not you should is neither here nor there, now having said that:

if you try to dye it white you will have to use a color stripper first which will totally fry your hair, and could possibly burn your scalp as well. adding color is always heathlier than removing color, if you want to try something crazy why don't you try a temporary color like blue,purple,green or red!

Yes, and while it is really cool on pale people, you don't seem to be very pale, so I think you might regret it, since you won't actually be dying your hair. You'll have to strip it.

No. You are cute the way you are. I think dying it white would be weird and make you look less attractive. I think it would be unique, but wouldnt recommend it.
