We are all gods, divine in our own being. We are extensions of God himself. I believe that we are all sent here in his image to experience the whole. How can you know yourself if you have nothing/noone to compare it to? Take a cake for example. When you slice a cake, can you say that the smaller slice is not as perfect compared to the whole? Indeed the answer to that is No.

We are all one. There is only one of us in the room. Therefore bless your enemies, for they help define you. Through them, we can see ourselves as being nice, mean, selfish, rude, etc. Every act is an act of self definition. If they do not exist, we cannot see ourselves. If you were God, how did you know you exist if you have nothing to compare yourself to? Hence the realm of the relative (earth) was created. Just to know and experience himself/herself/itself again. I see the divine in me when I look at you. God bless.

Much love from Malaysia.

Cheerios.

Isn't this just age old monism.

I don't think there is only one substance. I believe there are separate substances or entities. Together we comprise a diverse group, constituted from individual parts who are eternally distinct.

Take your cake analogy. Well, each part of that cake is an extension of the "one". But say there were several different cakes. And say these cakes were of different shapes, sizes and composures. Well, if you remove a slice, you can't merely replace it with any slice from another cake. It would be of a separate substance.

You may have the best of intentions but you are wrong...and then you say God bless? Nothing you said is what God says...so do you know more that God?

The fool says in his heart there is no God. Yes God created us "in His image"...but he also said to Love the Lord God with all your heart and Him only will you serve".

We are all God's creation, made by Him to love Him. But He allows us the choice to choose to love Him.

If we are so arrogant as to believe we are all gods...then God says "we are already condemned" because we choose not to believe in His Son.Jesus. He very clearly states "He who has the Son, has Life"...and He who has not the Son, shall not see Life"...meaning eternal Life....

So if I were you, I would start searching for God Himself...and stop making up stories that are not the truth..and won't get you to Heaven....instead they will get you to hell.

When the voice of the Silent touches my words
I know him and therefore I know myself
Rabindranath Tagore

We do not need others to define us, that is comparing the parts of the cake
We need only the Silence

However we do need others to know about loving others.
