you can pump water
cool houses down if you channel it in and make the design receptive to airflows
you can make fridges if you combine it with dripping water over clinkers or wales with holes
you can cool beer in a wet jute bag if it hangs in the wind
or a room if a wet cloth is in a windy window
it brings the rain
and dries out stuff like washing or lands
