ANY FEAR CAN BE TIDE OVER BY SINCERE MEDITATION AND PRAYER

Your prayer is from your heart. Further You must have to understood the fact that God is present in our heart. This can be realised in meditation. Further we are the creation of our own destiny. As per Hindu sacred religion, we carry all good and bad deeds life after life. There is no end unless we pray for unification of self with the divineliness.

i'm really sorry for your loss, illyria6167, but i think you misunderstood the question. (if i understand correctly) it is just asking which disorders get the most attention from the psychiatric community, not laying blame for people who have those disorders. those people need and deserve the attention they are getting. anyway, as to my answer... that reminds me of a conversation i had with a family friend, who happens to be a shrink: she said now the disorder getting (overdiagnosed) is bipolar disorder. and before that it was add/adhd. and i dunno, maybe it changed since i talked to her...she was a bit odd. she referred to these as the "in" disorders. i mean, she was joking of course, but still. :0 so i hope that helps and i agree with the post before me that if you're asking because you're planning on (faking or inducing) the disorder in yourself, there are much easier and safer ways to get attention, and the resources and time of mental health professionals should be invested in those who need them most.

Why in the world would you want to be that person.
If you know someone and think they're faking it to get attention, think again. How'd you like top be in his/her shoes? He's a lot more miserable than the people around him. You may be living along side the problem, but he/she's living WITH it. Not fun!.

Whatever newest drug is invented to "cure" newly invented disorders will get the most attention- media, "news" reports, advertising, etc. etc. And little online tests people can take to "prove" they have that newly invented "disorder" complete with a new magic pill to to ask their doctor about.

Gee I am sorry we people upset you so much. When I was depressed after my father died I became a cutter. I didn't go advertising it either but I am so very sorry you feel like we are attention suckers. I don't think much of ignorant, clueless people so I guess were even.
