i have three friends and we have a lot in common. all four of us are Scorpios, black females, college students ( almost there to graduate school). i mean we pretty but we seem to never met a man that we want but the men we dont want..we meet the same type hood guys who want to be babied all the time... i dont mind doing things for other people but im nobody mother.i meet guys who aren't mature enough aka not man enough and always wants me to play the mother role. and at times never settle down aka MR big.well my friend jackie meets the same type of guys who only stick around or want to deal with her when it convinont for him.my friend jen meets men who are selfish, self centered at time a MR BIG.my friend D always meets men who are just losers not even high school diploma, street guys.when we get together we talk about what we want in guy ( humor,education, manners) i even tried to date out side my race but still the same type of men. advice please! what are we doing wrong

well i dated men out side my race and i find some guys scared.. i guess it the big butt , hips, and full lips scare them off. but i also came up with this conclusion men are men
and if i can go to college and do dual BS degree what so hard about getting a high school diploma or one college degree

Go to church...there are lots of good guys there. And they have lots going for them. Or try clubs (like sports, hobbies...not bars) that you are into. Then you will find someone with something in common with you. Also, you could join a co-ed sports team. Guys who do this are more mature since they have to handle scheduling it into their work life. Unfortunately there is a big shortage of black men who meet the standards you are looking for and the ones that do know they are in big demand so they may not stick around for long. Try dating more white or asain guys if you can. Just telling it like it is.

Idk...maybe you are looking in the wrong place... I guess I got lucky. I am white and I found a nice black guy and he treats me very well. He is all the things I could have wanted. But he lives in an all white neighborhood and he was raised with manners, not in the hood.
