Had a wreak my fault have gieco insur., after my estimate will they send me a check or send it to the shop?

wanted to do work my self.

You'll need to ask them. If you have a lienholder on the vehicle, you have to have the vehicle repaired by a shop. If you do not, then ask Geico for a cashout. However, if you do this....you're done--they won't give you any additional $$ if you're doing the work yourself and find additional damage.

that is insurance fraud.
