Yes, as other people were stating, you will have a conversion fee for doing so which is normally included when you see the transaction on your credit card bill. The thing that I also wanted to let you know is to call your creditor to let them know that you are making an overseas purchase so that they won't block your account and cause you more problems. Also, keep in mind a lot of companies these days charge what is known as a foreign transaction fee normally between 1-3% of the USD converted amount. I'd suggest calling your bank first for more details! Hope this helps!

Yes you can. When your card company recieves the charge in euros, it will be converted to dollars for your statement. People travel to Europe and all over the world every day and use their credit cards.

Most credit cards will let you buy things from overseas but charge you for the conversion. Your best bet is to call the card's customer service and ask.

You most certainly can! And by using your credit card you will get the best conversion rate.

When I went to Triple A to get Lire and Pounds for my trip abroad, the lady told me that bit of travel info.

Yes, you can use your American credit card. They will bill you in American Dollars at the exchange rate on the day that your purchase was charged to your card.
