Aloha gets the reward for "being on time." I select my inter-island airlines according to price; but my friend doesn't like one of the major inter-island carrier b/c the planes are OLD... The inter-island flights are so brief that catastrophes are few and far between, relatively speaking...

Hawaiian and Aloha Airlines are both quite good. I personaly cannot stand iflyGo (Mesa Airlines) or Island Air...the service is shoddy and the planes look like they might fall out of the sky.

Hawaiian - without a doubt. New 717s (compared to old 737-200s at Aloha, and worse yet REGIONAL jets at go). The only interisland carrier with a First Class cabin, and assigned seating. Hawaiian is rated as Conde Naste's favorite domestic airline, and is number one for on time, fewest lost bags, and customer satisfaction.

While the folks at Aloha have always been very pleasant, that airline needs newer planes. They are at least 30 years old. Those things, inside and out, are the noisiest things around!!!

I would try Go then Hawaiian.

Hawaiian is the best, in my opinion.
