He is a Evangelist with his own show (the 700 club) plus he has a law degree.

Pat Robertson is a television evangelist, occasional Republican presidential candidate, and multi-millionaire.
He's also a certifiable fruitcake who thinks he has a direct line to the Almighty.
He's a jingoistic, xenophobic, misogynistic, homophobic, Un-American pain in the a**, who probably hates himself more than he hates the rest of us. He blamed 9/11 on us, saying it happened because we "lost faith with God."
Avoid him at all costs.

a famous televangelist. He says many outrageous things, and is quite wealthy.
He confuses right wing politics with the Gospel.
He went so far as advocating the assassination of Hugo Chavez, president of Venezuela, because the latter has not been bowing down enough to the president of the USA.
He is an embarassment to evangelical Christians.
(Perhaps God uses him to keep us humble!)
