Everyone has some sort of calming or comfort thing they do.

Nothing is wrong with him.

Some people have certain pillows they sleep with or blankets, some have to have socks on, or some have to rock, wiggle their foot or leg, bounce their legs, rub their hair.............it's all a comfort thing. Some people just do it when they are little and others continue it as they get older. So what? It's harmless.

If that is you're only complaint about him then get over it. There is nothing wrong with him, you are just picking him apart! So what he plays with his eye lashes, if it's a comfort thing then let him comfort himself. I play with the slick stuff on my jacket when I get nervous or just when I want to feel comforted. My husband knows it and never says anything about it. Some people just have habits and some are worse then others. Count your blessings!

hi,
it's just a habit... and could be a "comfort thing". talk to him about it..most times, people do things so often, that they are not always aware of how often they are doing it. ask him if knows why he does it? explain how annoying it is to watch this behavior all the time. a habit can be broken, with work.

He might have obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Or it may just be a nervous habit.
