Yes, it's from the Poetic Edda. The poem is one of the most vigorous of the entire collection; the exchange or contest of insults was dear to the Norse heart, and the Lokasenna consists chiefly of Loki's taunt; to the assembled Gods and Goddesses, and their attempts to talk back to him. It's hilarious.

Jezebel is my favorite Bible character.

There are no records of her ever being unfaithful to her husband.

She made Pheonician god worship ("Ba'al" or Hadad and Astarte, I believe) exceptable in Israel, the most xenophobic nation of it's time.

She scared the crap out of the prophet Elijah.

She doesn't run and hide after Jehu convinced her servants to throw her out a window. She faces death with dignity and pride, as a Queen, not a harlot.

So yeah, I really like Jezebel. And if you take the first half of my first name and the last half of my middle name, it's Jesselle. P:

My ex-girlfriend used to call me that whenever I was acting like a wise-a**, as in "Okay, Mister Smarty Pants, if you think it's so easy, why don't you try shaving down there?"

I have a tendency to act like I know it all.

Honestly I don't remember how I got my screen name. But I still remember how I got hit by a "screen door".
