If you want to TRY to look "cool" --- MacBook
If you want to TRY to look even "cooler" --- MacBook Pro

But if you want your computer to do something other than sit there and look white, here are the minimum specifications you should have for a long-lasting laptop.

Intel Core 2 Duo
Minimum 1024MB DDR2 RAM. DDR2, not DDR
Windows Vista
Combo CD/DVD RW drive
Graphics card at least 128MB, dedicated preferable
Hard drive of 80GB or more

FInd the best Specs, the latest technology & the coolest design u can ever find..
Best Specs= so that u won't have to but additional RAM if u need more memory
latest Tech = so that u can use it longer without obsolete..don't need to buy new in a while.
coolest design= so that u will adore it & like it very much that u don't ever feel like changing to a new one..

Stick with a MAC. You'll have fewer problems and thus fewer headaches. The software is gonna cost you more, but it is more than worth it.

From one who finally gave up on the PC rage and found MAC.

My daughter got one for graduation. Then at her University they wanted her to have a different kind. Moral: find out what you may need where you are going.

i guess it depends for what u wanna use it for.......like if ur gunna use a program like autocad ur gunna need allot of memory to run it
