This may not be what you want to hear, but as an outsider, this is the way things appear. You have been lucky enough to get correctly diagnosed. God knows, that certainly doesn't happen all the time. But, you are refusing treatment. So, Nexium didn't work for you. Why aren't you inquiring after an alternative medication?? Nexium is essentially a proton pump inhibitor and there are many, many different classes and types. If you had an allergic reaction (and it sounds like you have) to one, ask your doctor to try another "class" of the same drug. If your acid reflux is left untreated, you open yourself to more serious problems: errosion of your teeth, esophageal cancer. Man, go back and try another class of proton pump inhibitors. Don't CHOOSE to suffer with this.

You have many problems here just not "lumps" you need to be taken seriously. First you need to radically change your diet, Fresh fruits and vegies and low carbs. Try and stay away from tea, coffee and sodas. I had a throat ulcer and the only thing that fixed it was coats aloe This is very pure aloe. They are online
Coats Aloe International Garland Tx www.coatsaloe.com This will help your weight. Thyroid problems cause weight gain. Anxiety and stress cause weight gain, lack of energy causes weight gain. If you have copd some of the medications can conflict with your breathing.
This is a serious matter but try one bottle of Aloe and see how you do, it is all natural and cannot harm you I use Kiwi Strawberry.
My dog recently had sever gastroenteritis that then went to her mouth in the form of sever ulcers, then her ear with ulcers and pus. The antibiotics helped but until I started her on the alovera every day she did not get better. She would have died without it. so it does work. All the best...

Hi Bonnie
I'd get a copy of those tests and take them to a different doctor for evaluation. Don't stop trying if you think somethings wrong. The raised areas in your throat could be a reaction to medications, maybe infection, or irritation. What about blood work, did they do any to evaluate your thyroid? They might see a normal reading for t3 and 4 levels but it might not be normal for you. I struggled with thyroid problems for a long time, my levels were "normal" but on the low end of normal and it wasn't normal for me. I'm on medication now after losing hair, being tired, and my thyroid has a nodule now because doctors didn't listen. I found a new doctor that did listen, you need to look for a new doctor.

I have thyroid cancer but you say that yours is normal. I wonder why the drs are not doing a CT with contrast to get better imaging. Dont know if you are in the US or Canada but maybe a dr from a walk in clinic might be of more help. If you find it hard to breath and are fed up, the only thing to get the ball rolling would be to go to emergency. I just had a node removed from my chest mets from thyroid cancer. Had a hard time breathing so I went to the emergeny room. My GP finally listed and I was schedulled with a thoracic surgeon and just had surgery. This will be my third surgery. Hope you get some more help

There are more than one hundred types of cancers and each type of cancer has different symptoms. Many of these symptoms are also associated with common ailments, so only thorough checkup by a doctor, can identify the real problem . More details and information at http://candp.org/
