It has to be able to be corrected (with weak prescription glasses or surgery) prior to aplication to 20/20, good color vision, and good field of vision. If its color blindness or field/peripheral or other type blindness then no.

sorry, but no.. air force pilot have really strict rules, and yes 20/20 is needed, but almost any physical weakness or problem is enough to kick you off the line, there are enough that want to become pilot and are capable of.

you can still become pilot, may not be airforce pilot, but army gives helicopter pilot course with as little as highschool diploma, where air force reqire you 4yrs colledge from airforce academy, or others, but most likely they will select pilots from the academy and will get good cadets from college if there are slots.

becoming civilian pilot by graduating embliridle areonotic college is may be the best way for you. but do keep in mind about the army doods. if you want to see the action army might be the place for you, air combat is just a history, no more dog fight in this world, but what they do is air to ground bombing.

A pilot has to have 20/20 vision in order to fly. If they know you have had past eye problems then you most likely will not become a pilot.
