I am not from Chicago, but perhaps I have a suggestion to help you.

After my wife died six years ago, I attended a grief support workshop at a hospice in a local hospital. The group accepted grieving people, whether or not the person had died in the hospice. it was one of the most healing and beneficial things I could have done.

You might contact one of the hospices in your area to see if they have what you are looking for or if they can refer you to the right place.

My best wishes to you.

I don't know of any but you can look in the newspaper, they usually have a listing of different groups and have times, meeting places, etc. Or call your local health department, they can point you in the right direction. Good luck.
