Do they want some for themselves??

I've noticed whenever i see a large marijuana bust on the news, that the plants are always 'ready to be harvested'. I never see them find a crop of seedlings, or young plants.

It is all about weight. I knew a guy who was growing outdoors and when they busted him they DUG UP the plants and weighed the dirt as well which made it look like he had alot more than was actually growing. Most pot is grown indoors and not from seeds into big plants but just clones of the flowers.

1) They normally spot it from the air due to its distinctive color. The larger the plants get, the easier they are to spot.

2) The bigger the plants, the bigger the bust looks.

3) When planted properly, the guilty parties won't return to the scene until harvest time. Cops often stake out a crop to catch the growers.

Hope this helps!

The larger the mature crop the larger the sentence, and in some places young plants or seeds aren't enough for a conviction.

Quite simply, the police wait until the time of year when plants are mature to begin their searches. Nothing like bagging someone's ripe crop!

In a lot of cases they set up hidden video in the area to record the coming and going of the "farmers" this will take several weeks, so when they do move in they have video evidence of all the people and activity that occurred by the "farmers" this way they can convict the "farmers" for the maximum term.

Be careful
and good luck.

THe crops are always mature so the cops can pretend to burn
them & sell it quickly.
That is why when there is a major bust, pot is very plentiful 2 days later.

Maybe the cops wait until the crop is more valuable before they grab it.

No they don't want them for them selves..

Mature plants are easily spotted there they are confiscated.

Your plants are safe is they can't be seen.

Smoke on.
