what kind of life do french foreigh legionnaires get?

i heard they do covee all the time. and what can they do when they get out of the legion? do they get degree or become a hitman??? i want to join, but want my future promised.

I think they get about the same as any former French soldier gets, so not much... But like you said the Legion does save some of their money while they were in the Legion, and also they can apply to be a French citizen... become a hit man? I think you are watching too much TV on that one...
