According to dictionary.com....
LOVE <3
1. a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
2. a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.
3. sexual passion or desire.
4. a person toward whom love is felt; beloved person; sweetheart.
5. (used in direct address as a term of endearment, affection, or the like): Would you like to see a movie, love?
6. a love affair; an intensely amorous incident; amour.
7. sexual intercourse; copulation.
8. (initial capital letter) a personification of sexual affection, as Eros or Cupid.
9. affectionate concern for the well-being of others: the love of one's neighbor.
and blah blah blah..
Dictionaries are so vague sometimes eh? Lol.
According to my boyfriend and I....
Love can come in different ways. We met at our favorite online MMORPG game. Our "characters" started dating first..haha...and then we fell in love...Now, I am still with him =) We are getting married soon, too. =) For others, you may meet your true love at strange places or the most unlikely place ever! Or...your childhood friend may become your wife...but the one you truely love, you will love forever- you will put that person first, even before your own self. Then you will know it's true love.
Love can be familial, romantic, or just love for doing a particular thing...etc.
True love doesn't have to come with sex, but the natural feeling should come at "the moment". Sex comes after love. Even the vague dictionary lists sex after love. If you put sex before love, it isn't true love at all. Love includes everything, like sex, having kids, getting married, and being with each other forever.
When you are in love, you will feel something in your heart that you've never felt before. I can't tell you what it exactly feels like, because it's special to every one of us. wink**

Love is a beautiful feeling. Love is a blessing. Love is a friendship. Love is a commitment. Love is an obligation. However, I believe if you are in love, neither you can live, nor you can die. There is no right or wrong answer to define "Love" because love is belief. Sex is a desire for the body and love is an important element of the soul.Without sex life could be incomplete, but without love life is meaningless.

Love is the most difficult word in the English language to explain.
There are countless types of love, such as for other people, marriage partners, foods, hobbies, etc.
Mental love is not needed for sex, but the act is more enjoyable if indeed you do love the person you're with.
Only you can answer if you know when, for sure, you met your love partner. Different people have different standards for asking this question.

I have proved that love is NOT blind, it see`s but it doesnt mind. it`s true that there is love at first sight. I dont believe that love must always be about sex, it is if you are married but then if someone really loves you, then you would wait until she is ready because love is not only proven with sex, regardless of some who says love is only proven with sex. Love comes with trust, honesty and responsibility. Love comes with hurt and pain and sadness but if the two of you really love each other, you can overcome all troubles and obstacles that can go your way, because Love conquers all. love is kind, it is patient, its not selfish. Its not jealous because if you really love each other you trust the person. Love is about giving your heart to a person and knowing that he/she may hurt you but your love is strong so you still gamble.
There is one-sided love which is too hard to bear and difficult to overcome, but two-sided love and true love is the most precious thing in the world. You know you have met your life partner if you have this feelinginside of you, in your mind that she's the one and you have this gut feeling that you want to stay with her forever and not leave her side.

"Love is patient and kind. It is never jealous, it is never boastful or conceited. it is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and not resentful love takes no pleasure in other peoples sins but delights in the truth it is always ready to excuse to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes." I believe love exists and hope everyone experiences it at least once in their lifetime. your question is also a question i was thinking about earlier and i do believe that sex is a major part of love, and that its best to have sex, (make love) with someone that you are in love with than just plain sex, its more meaningful and more passionate. in regards to meeting ur love partner, i guess you just feel it in your heart, you know its right, its a unique moment, you'll just know. basically, its about following your instincts and letting your heart be your guide. xOx . =)

provided that an extremely long term in the past, human beings have hunted for the meaning of affection. yet even the large philosophers, with their profound definitions, could no longer totally touch its actual essence. In a survey of four-8 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds, little ones share their perspectives on love.

love doesn't need to have sex come trailing after it all the time... when you love someone, you do your 'laundry' when both of you are ready. love comes in many forms; platonic love, which is for the people you care for like your friends, family, relatives and idols ^_^
romantic love is when you just can't get enough of that special person. not necessarily having intercourse. just having fun, getting along, loving the fact that she's/he's there. the pleasure of their presence is enough to make your heart flutter you can just die then and there.
the love people say when all they do is have sex is called sexual love. which can easily fade away in as earl as 2 hours even before doing it.

love is being with someone you could go on a long bus trip and not be bored.
Love is being with someone you want to be with no matter what.
love is a whole lot more then this i just can't think of anything else at the moment.
but yes its more then sex. you don't have to love someone to have sex. If you do love some one you want to have sex there is a difference. The difference is lust and love.
