I dont get the bible?

I have read the bible....I have studied it in catholic school....and college courses.....I have realized how much poeple.....are so well dumb....GOD is nto a he.....ok...LOL...men wrote the bible....to give the world something to believe in....THE so called BIBLE is the best sellgin book every year.....UNDER fiction.....jesus being the son of god....is crap cuz out of all the life in the univers oo yea "jesus" is his son...and his mirror image CMON on..there is a god...but come on people are u serious....what do u think?

hmmm, I did get the bible..i understand everything it says....but it was written by man....AND dont say it is the word of "god".....umm i seriously doubt God the creator of everyhting siad that I am a man...and oo by the way just incase u dont think I am mighty let me tellu stories of how mighty i am...(Noahs Arc, creating world in 7 days, Adam and Eve)...OO and who the hell gets tempted by a friggin fruit?...if someon said a fruit was forbidden i wouldnt want it.....and yea....there is a god..but he has no interaction with humans....we all evolved..GET OVER IT!!

it's a myth. nothing more.

it's full of errors, thousands of them. a god didn't inspire it. all you have to do, really, is see how bible-god talks about and encourages slavery and how the bible god degrades women. you know, then, that is little more than cult garbage.

You are right - you don't get the Bible, because you are in unbelief and out of harmony with the Author. This is exactly what the Bible says about you. (see Romans 8:5-8; I Corinthians 2:6-16; John 8:43-47 and Ephesians 2:1-9)
There was a time when even the apostles did not understand the Scriptures, but when Jesus was risen from the dead He "breathed on them and said 'Receive the Holy Spirit' " (John 20:22)
It was at this time that He "opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures." (Luke 24:45)
It was at this time, that they were born again.

General info on the Bible

1. The Bible consists of 66 books: 39 in the OT and 27 in the new. The Bible took about 1600 years to write. It was written in three languages (Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek) by about 40 authors and is internally consistent throughout.

Reliability of the Bible

1. The Bible is 98½ percent textually pure. Through all the copying of the Biblical manuscripts of the entire Bible, only 1½% has any question about it. Nothing in all of the ancient writings of the entire world approaches the accuracy of the biblical documents.
2. The 1½ percent that is in question does not affect doctrine. The areas of interest are called variants and they consist mainly in variations of wording and spelling.
3. The NT has over 5000 supporting Greek manuscripts existing today with another 20,000 manuscripts in other languages. Some of the manuscript evidence dates to within 100 years of the original writing. There is less than a 1% textual variation in the NT manuscripts.

The bible a historicaly based guide to spirituality, it dosn't change (unlesss a human changes it) an it is a constant for those who are seeking the truth, not just the billions of opinions from other people. Jesus is real. You are entitled to your own opinion but historically Jesus can be traced to have lived, died, and healed the exact way the Bible explains. Although some parts of the Bible are seemingly far fetched its all the way you interpret it. You need to go back to Revelations and read that part again and try to take it alittle more serious. I pray for your soul when you meet Jesus face to face.

I believe if you study the Bible you would see Jesus as God. When the Jews asked Jesus who He was, He said I am. The condemned Him for blasphemy. He thus said He is God. Look at the prophecies that have been fulfilled by Him, too.
