Not much you can do about the broken strands or split ends once they happen, but if you can go to your local beauty shop (or salon) and buy Joico's K-Pak Reconstructor. Use it once a week. Also, if you home-color, use it after rinsing out your color but before using the conditioner that comes in the package. This will restore some of the strength to your hair strands--those conditioners are nice, but don't quite cut it.

Use VO5 hot oil treatment at least once a week and try Hask Placenta hair repair treatment. Keep trimming off the damaged hair as it grows. Back in 1994 I had fried damaged hair from dying and perming it. I had it cut short, quit dying and perming it and kept deep conditioning it alot. Today I have only my natural long hair and haven't dyed or permed it since. It requires time but will eventually happen. Just keep deep conditioning it alot and a great everyday conditioner is Treseme'.

Hot Oil! Suave sells one that comes in a two pack for about $1 and it's awesome! It'll condition your hair so good so it won't break anymore if you take care of it. Use it once a week and make sure you're doing your trims about once every 4-6 weeks until your hair grows out some. DON'T straighten or curl your hair if you don't absolutely have to--it needs a break. I fried my hair dying it and this worked for me! It won't look great automatically unless you chop off all the fried ends and let it grow out, but it'll help big time while the hair grows out. Good luck to you.

First off, STOP straightening your hair every day!!! Next, get a good shampoo and conditioner. Also, start washing your hair only 2-3 times a week. It's not healthy for your hair to wash it every single day. And you can still straighten your hair, but cut it down to maybe 1-2 times a week if you still want to straighten it. And finally, your life saver will be.... drum roll please..... MOROCCAN OIL! I love that stuff so much! Along with all these other steps, it will make your hair shinier, healthier, softer, and it smells amazing!

Deep condition it buy a professional product that you leave on for a while. A good product is called prosity control, after a few uses you hair will start to feel better, try not to use heat on your hair but if you do get a thermal protector. To get rid of the frizzy look try frizz ease.

If you can't find a good quality deep conditioner try this:
I know it sounds grouse:
Take a very ripe avocado, mush it with a fork until it has a paste consistency, put it in your hair and lit it sit for 3-5 minutes. Wash it off with shampoo and condition as usual.
If that's too grouse for you, you can always purchase "Cholestrol" its available at any beauty supply or drug store and comes in oil or cream fashions.

Just condition it a lot with a conditioner for dry and brittle hair. And also, don't srtaiten it or curl it or anything, leave it alone for a while. I have the same problem, but i'm conditioning it a lot and it's slowly getting better.

People swear by Joico K-pak. You probably need protein for strength and then good conditioning.

go and buy a deep conditioner, and let it sit on your hair for a good 20 min, then rinse it out, and shampoo it again.
