My husband and I is having spring bed but it creates back pain.

Both are good and it's really a matter of preference. I've slept on a select comfort bed and what is good about them is the fact that you can adjust them according to your needs when you are in bed. Also your husband can have his choice as well. Pretty nice actually.

I love my Tempurpedic! Its like sleeping on a cloud. But it is not adjustable, if that is what you are looking for.
